The emerald is a rare and elusive gemstone. Vivid color is the one of the most important criterion for determining it’s value Emerald the cat can be a bit elusive. She can be shy and is still learning to fully trust people. Emerald often runs away when approached but she has been making progress. She is not a fan of busy adoption days. However, when it is quiet, she likes to be near the volunteers and enjoys tossing spring toys around. Emerald certainly has vibrant color evident in her dazzling eyes and soft coat. She is independent and doesn’t mind the company of the other feline residents. Emerald did have 4 inclusions (kittens) who have been adopted. Like the fine gem, Emerald will require gentle care for full enjoyment. Emerald is 2 years old, healthy, spayed, vaccinated, negative for FeLV/FIV, litter trained and microchipped.
