About Elkdale
Elkdale arrived in July from another rescue, hoping for a fresh start and the right match. She tends to keep to herself at first, but with a little patience and gentle encouragement, Elkdale blossoms. She would feel most comfortable in a calm, quiet home where there are no small children. Elkdale is FIV positive, but that doesn’t stop her from living a long, healthy life—as long as she’s kept indoors, fed well, and her vet visits stay regular. The virus only spreads to other cats through serious bites, and isn’t a risk to people or other species. Elkdale is looking for someone who will give her time, comfort, and a safe space to relax.
