Meet Rachel! Hi, I’m Rachel — and I’ve been waiting a long time to write this. I was rescued in early 2023 by one of our most trusted partners, Slaughterhouse Survivors, after being pulled off the back of a meat truck. While that part of my story is hard to hear, what matters most is that I survived — and I’ve spent the last 2.5 years waiting patiently for the flight that would bring me home. And now? I’m finally here. I’m safe. And I’m so ready to find my person. I’m about 4.5 years old, and my DNA says I’m 100% Tibetan Mastiff — but honestly? No one told me that. I’m only about the size of a large golden retriever, and if I showed up at a Mastiff meetup, they’d probably laugh and ask for ID. ? What I am is easygoing, affectionate, and full of heart. I’m great with all dogs, incredibly people-focused, and love soaking up gentle attention and cozy moments. I’m crate trained, drooly in the cutest way, and just want a home that feels as safe as I finally do.
