Poppy is the most adorable little love bug. We think she's mixed with pit/lab, is about 1.5 years old and is 40 pounds. When our rescue got her, she was on the verge of being euthanized due to being turned into a vet by a good samaritan after seeing her get hit by a car and no one was stepping up to donate for her surgery. Luckily we were able to help and get her surgery, and they were able to completely fix her leg. We aren't sure what her story was before we got her, but we don't think it was good. She was VERY afraid of humans and pretty much everything out in the world. She's been in a foster home for a few months now and is THRIVING. She's still timid at first, but she now lets people pet her and once she gets to know and trust you she's the sweetest most affectionate dog. She truly doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She's crate and potty trained, is great with other dogs, and we recently learned that she's good with cats as well. If you're interested in adopting her please fill out an application.
