About Pepper
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! If you’re searching for a sweet, playful companion who still sparkles with youthful energy, then Pepper could be your perfect match. At about a year and a half old, this lovely Basset Hound mix boasts a short black coat that’s always ready for some affection and playtime. Pepper is fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed, so she's all set to join her forever family. You’ll appreciate that Pepper is both crate trained and house trained, and she walks well on a leash. She already knows basic cues like sit and stay—especially if treats are involved, since she’s highly food motivated! Toys are a favorite for Pepper, and she shines as a 'power player,' so she'll need tough, durable toys to keep her entertained. Her loving nature means she’s affectionate and ready for all the cuddles, but she does come with a cheerful dose of puppy energy that makes playtime extra fun. Pepper gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and is always eager to make new friends. While she hasn't been cat tested yet, arrangements can be made if you’re curious about her feline compatibility. Currently at The Purrfect Place in High Point, NC, Pepper is even willing to travel out of state for the ideal home, though a transport fee may apply if volunteer transport isn’t available. If your family is searching for a loyal, loving, and toy-obsessed addition who will brighten your days and warm your heart, Pepper is waiting to meet you with her wagging tail and playful spirit. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
