About Easter

Easter landed at the rescue in 2019 as a five-week-old kitten after being found all alone in the middle of a country road on Easter Sunday. She was adopted a year later, but in late 2024 she came back to the rescue because her family’s circumstances changed. Despite these turns, Easter hasn't lost her affectionate spirit. She remains friendly and loving, happy to greet people and quick to show her playful, even downright silly, side—especially when it comes to bird toys. She may not have the most graceful jumps, but she makes up for it with enthusiasm. Easter is spayed, microchipped, and her vaccinations are up to date. She’s FELV/FIV negative. Following rescue policy, she must stay indoors only and cannot be declawed; adopters must ensure their current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines, too. Easter does get along with other cats and is looking for a safe space where she can settle in and shine. This could be the start of something paw-some.
