Rex is a playful, treat-motivated terrier mix with a whole lot of love to give. At 3 years old, he has the perfect blend of youthful energy and growing confidence. He can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but with a little patience and a few tasty snacks, Rex quickly warms up and reveals his sweet, affectionate nature. Once he feels safe, he has a willingness to engage in fun, bouncy play sessions. This toy-loving guy especially enjoys ropes and balls, and while he may get a bit vocal or exuberant during playtime, he’s learning how to manage his excitement. Rex already knows several basic cues, including sit, down, paw, stay, and come, and he’s eager to learn more. Rex is friendly but cautious with new faces, so he’ll thrive in a calm, patient home that can give him the time he needs to build confidence. Because of his jumpy play style and sensitivity to handling, he’s best suited for homes with teens 16 and older.
