About Lily

What are you waiting for? Apply today! Lily is a truly unique cat who needs an experienced and patient adopter ready for a rewarding challenge. After surviving a traumatic event when a storm severely damaged her previous home, Lily became fearful and anxious, making it tough for her to adjust to new environments. With time, patience, and understanding, she’s made significant progress in her foster home, displaying a strong-willed 'tortitude' and lots of attitude, but she still needs a very quiet, stable environment to thrive. Lily must be the only pet in the home and cannot be placed with children. She gets along with trusted adults but is fearful of other cats and will lash out if she feels threatened. Loud sounds and storms distress her, so she needs a peaceful sanctuary where she can feel safe. Lily requires weeks or even longer to settle into new homes, and she has a history of stress-induced urinary issues, though she's been healthy in her current foster situation. Gabapentin is helpful for her during travel. Despite her tough exterior, Lily has shown with the right approach she can be friendly with gentle people. Born August 6 makes her a spirited Leo—a sign known for bravery and a desire to be at the center of attention. If you’re ready to offer Lily the safe, loving home she deserves, she’s waiting to become the focus of your world. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
