Blaze is a sweet, affectionate 3 1/2 year terrier mix looking for a loving home! She originally came into the shelter as a stray back in September 2024, and was quickly adopted in October 2024. Recently she was returned due to some guarding in the home, so the adopters realized she was not a good fit for them. Since she has been back, Blaze has been very playful and loves spending time with her handler, showing more interest in engaging with people than toys. Blaze is social with other dogs but doesn’t show much interest in playing with them. She walks well on a leash but can be a strong puller and is a little hyper, so continued training is recommended. Blaze does well with basic commands like "sit." This sweet girl would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of playtime and affection, with teens 16+. She would make a great companion for someone looking for an active, loving dog!
