About Morgan
If you have a soft spot for quirky cats who like to flatten out and become one with the floor, Morgan is your girl. She and her family were rescued from an abandoned building, and hunger made them easy to catch—but safety and affection have been slow to win her over. Morgan is shy around people, but with a gentle hand she handles easily. She’s athletic and will zip around the room, racing on her cat wheel, sprinting after her siblings, or perching high to keep an eye on things (and evade foster mom). She’s quick to display her signature "airplane ears" whenever someone new is around, and she can make herself pancake-flat in an instant. Morgan loves other cats, especially wrestling and snuggling with her buddy Zoey, and she must go to a home with another confident, playful feline. She’s food motivated and will venture down for wet food at dinner time. Dogs don’t seem to bother her, but a quiet, calm home is best—adults only or perhaps older, cat-savvy children patient enough to let Morgan come out on her own terms. She’ll need an adopter willing to start her off in a small, safe space and give her time to reveal her sweet and playful side. Spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated, Morgan is healthy and has a lot of life left in her. If your home needs a cat’s cat—and you don’t mind being judged a little—Morgan could be the missing piece. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!

Questions about Morgan
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Morgan, a domestic short hair, would do well in most home environments, but she especially thrives where she has the companionship of other cats and a calm space. A quieter household with patient adults or older children is best.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Domestic short hairs like Morgan are best kept indoors with plenty of room to play and explore. She enjoys climbing and running, so enriching her indoor environment is important—outdoor space isn't necessary.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Morgan would do best with adults or older, cat-savvy children who respect her need for space and time to adjust. Domestic short hairs can suit a range of families but Morgan is too shy for young or unpredictable children.
