Introducing Licorice, affectionately nicknamed "Twinkle Toes" due to the charming white spots on his paws! Initially, he may seem quite shy, but once he warms up to you, he becomes an absolute lovebug. Despite being partially blind in his left eye, Licorice doesn't let that dampen his spirits. He adores neck scratches and might even indulge in some belly rubs if he's particularly fond of you. He's friendly with all felines he's encountered, yet he shares a special bond with Buffy — they're the epitome of a foster room romance. In his early years, Licorice resided with large dogs and, despite some initial reservations, adjusted well. However, since early 2020, Licorice has been staying in the cat foster room and has not had any interaction with dogs since then. What Licorice truly needs is a compassionate and patient family willing to allow him the time he needs to settle into his new environment. It's high time for him and his beloved Buffy to find a forever home. We invite you to meet this adorable duo in our foster room located in Harpers Ferry, where you can get acquainted with our adoptable cats in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. All cats adopted through To The ResQ have been examined by a vet, are spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped with free transfer registration, combo-tested, and dewormed.
