About Dutch
Dutch is a young Cane Corso with a big, goofy presence and a loyal heart. Rescued from a tough background in rural Louisiana, he landed safely in a foster home after being seized in a cruelty case. Despite a rough start—which included surgery for severely inflamed eye glands—Dutch has shown nothing but resilience and a deep attachment to his person. He’s genuinely a velcro dog: always near, always ready to follow, and eager to be part of whatever is happening. His size is typical for the breed, and while still growing into his frame, he's already strong and confident. Training is underway, and Dutch is quickly picking up the basics, but he thrives best with someone who understands extra-large breeds and can channel his playful, affectionate energy. He gets along well with other dogs and is likely kid friendly, though his interactions with cats haven’t been tested. Dutch is house trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on preventatives. Anyone seeking a loyal, affectionate friend with a dash of goofiness and a big presence may want to meet Dutch in New Orleans. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
