About Diva
Meet Diva, a medium-coated, tan and black German Shepherd mix currently in Virginia but adoptable in Palos Heights, IL. Despite her flashy name, Diva is the bold and social half of her sister pair. She’s 4 years old, weighs about 38 lbs, and is both house and crate trained. Friendly with other dogs, Diva loves exploring the yard and going for car rides—she’s solid on a leash but can get a little excited when squirrels or new dogs are near. She’d thrive in a home with another playful canine. Diva isn’t a match for cats or small animals, and she does best around older children (10+), as she can be a little reserved with rambunctious little ones. Her background as a survivor from Afghanistan has made her resilient and affectionate. Diva needs a fenced yard and wants a family ready to shower her in love and patience. She can be transported to an approved adopter or foster, and she would love you to ask about her sister, Ella. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
