About Ryka
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Ryka, a resilient girl who has already overcome so much. Originally rescued with a broken leg, she blossomed in a nurturing foster home where she fully healed, and although she found a family, her forever match is still out there. At about a year old and weighing 55 lbs, Ryka is thriving, adores playing with her canine pals, and is both crate and house trained. She’s still got her puppy energy, so an active adopter ready to include her in daily adventures will be her perfect fit! Ryka is incredibly cuddly when she’s worn out, eager to sprawl out in your lap and soak up affection. She’s treat-motivated and eager to learn, making her a great partner for continued training. For mealtimes, she does best being fed separately in her crate. On walks, Ryka’s stellar leash manners make her a top-notch walking or hiking buddy. She also gets along great with kids and is ready to meet her new family in person—or even out of state, with transport available for approved adopters. She’s fully vetted, including vaccinations, spay, microchip, and up-to-date on preventatives. Don’t miss out on the chance to add this sweet and spirited companion to your life. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
