About Shadow

Make their next chapter their best one yet. Shadow is currently seeking a loving family through Troy Animal Rescue Project. Before heading to a new home, Shadow will be up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative if age appropriate. He will also be receiving monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, and routine deworming to ensure optimal health. The adoption process at Troy Animal Rescue Project is both thorough and designed to match pets like Shadow with the right families. Interested adopters are required to submit an online application, after which a vet reference and virtual home visit are conducted. For those in rental homes, a copy of the lease confirming pets are allowed is needed. Depending on previous pet ownership, a personal or vet reference must be provided. Once the application process is complete, potential adopters are invited to meet up to three pets by appointment. Adoptions are not finalized until all necessary vet checks are complete, ensuring each pet leaves for their forever home healthy and cared for. The adoption fee is $100. Please note, same-day adoptions are not available, and the rescue operates by appointment only at their facility in Brundidge, Alabama. Start your journey together! Apply now.
