Roux (yes, like the secret ingredient in every great recipe) is our newest rescue, and she’s already melting hearts left and right. She’s a petite German Shepherd with the soul of a warrior and the sweetness of sugar. A few years ago, an accident took her front right leg — but don’t worry about her one bit. Roux runs through life on three legs and pure spirit. She chases her ball, does sprints like it’s her full-time job, and greets every day like she knows she’s exactly where she’s meant to be. Roux came from a home whose family wanted the very best for her. They trusted us to make sure she gets it — and we will. She’s settling into her foster home, loving her new food, and soaking up all the affection her rescue family can give. She’s even picked out her favorite bed and toys. Now, it’s our turn to make sure she has everything she needs — adventures, comfy beds, enrichment toys, and all the love we can pack into her new start. Roux picked the 8-ball as her favorite toy — guess she knows she’s the lucky one now.
