Alongside siblings Lucky Day and Ned Nederlander, Dusty grew up in a barn under the watchful care of her mother. Once they were old enough to strike out on their own, all three made their way to rescue—wide-eyed, curious, and a touch unsure about their new human admirers. Touches and cuddles are still a novelty for Dusty, who didn’t have much direct human interaction growing up. At first, she might act a bit bashful or surprised by your affections, but with a little patience, her guard starts to drop—she’s quietly charmed by all the attention, even if she pretends otherwise. As a 9-week-old kitten, she’s at that perfect age to adjust and bond in a new home, open to people ready to give her the space and time she needs. Dusty Bottoms is in Mount Juliet, TN.
