About Bella
Start your journey together! Apply now. Bella and Django are a loyal duo who have visited the shelter several times. Bella, the elder at 8 years old, has always shared her life with Django, who is 2. Ideally, they would find a home together, but the shelter understands that might not be possible. Bella’s personality is bold—she tends to be the dominant dog and may not mesh with every canine companion. She does best in calm environments, as too much excitement makes her assertive. People are her favorite, though. Even as a senior, Bella is brimming with playful energy and enjoys engaging with her humans. In recent years, she has received full veterinary care, including treatment for an eye infection and the removal of a mass. She is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and maintained on prevention, free from fleas and ticks, spayed, and microchipped. Bella and Django’s story is bittersweet—their bonded life has been disrupted several times due to unreliable care, as they were found wandering more than once. They both deserve lasting stability and the loving home they have always needed. Fun fact: Bella’s birthday is June 20, making her a curious and affectionate Gemini! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
