About King
King is a mellow, quirky, and soft-hearted American Staffordshire Terrier looking for a spot on your couch—and your heart. With his short, silvery coat and little legs, he’s mastered the art of relaxing in the silliest and most endearing ways, often flattening himself next to you or, even better, on top of you. At 6–8 years old, he’s figured out what matters: good company, a soft blanket, and a bit of routine. While he’s deaf in one ear, that hasn't slowed him down. He picks up on what matters (especially food or leash noises), and his selective hearing is more charming than troublesome. King gets along well with other dogs, happily greeting them on walks, but isn’t overly interested in small animals. His energy is mostly low-key, but he can burst into joyful zoomies when it’s time for meals or heading outdoors. His signature move: curling up with his comfort blanket, which he often carries and nurses for security. If you want a loyal companion who brings calm and the occasional dash of silly, King fits the bill perfectly. Click apply to start the adoption process.
