About Fred

They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Meet Fred, a large Pit Bull Terrier available for adoption from Troy Animal Rescue Project. Fred will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations before joining your family. He'll also be heartworm negative (if age appropriate), receive monthly preventatives, and be regularly dewormed, so you can rest assured he’s healthy and happy. The rescue team manages a thorough adoption process to ensure Fred finds his perfect match. Interested adopters will need to fill out the application online, provide a vet or personal reference, and complete a virtual home visit. Home visits and vet references are required, and the rescue does not perform same-day adoptions. Once approved, you’ll schedule a meet-and-greet with Fred and, after a successful meeting, finalize vetting or checks before welcoming him into your home. Fred’s adoption fee is $100. Adopters are welcome to meet by appointment at the Brundidge, AL rescue center, and the rescue is happy to answer questions via email or phone. A fun fact about Fred: his birthday is July 16, which makes him a caring and loyal Cancer—traits known to shine in both people and pups! Make their next chapter their best one yet.
