Pudge is a big, lovable Pit Bull Terrier who brings plenty of heart wherever he goes. He’s smart, listens well, and has excellent house manners—already housebroken and kennel trained, with a gentle, easygoing style. Out on walks he keeps a steady pace, and he’s happiest with a combination of backyard play, a hike, or just some time with his toys. He’s not the kind of dog who demands constant attention, but he always appreciates a few pets and a little company. Pudge has basic obedience solidly down and picks up new tricks quickly; his eagerness to learn keeps him busy and mentally sharp. Fetch is his favorite game, and he never turns down a football or a new toy. He gets a kick out of playing in the water with a hose but prefers to pass on bath time. With his medium energy, a daily walk and a little playtime are plenty to keep him satisfied. Though shy around new faces, Pudge warms up with a bit of patience and kindness. He needs a no-kid home since younger children can be overwhelming for him; older teens are more his speed.
