About Mojo Jojo
Mojo Jojo is an incredibly gentle, shy little dog who was at risk in the shelter simply because he was scared. Since arriving in rescue, he’s started to discover that people can be kind and life can be safe. Mojo Jojo’s sensitive nature shines through—he’s calm, hand-shy, and looks to confident, friendly dogs for guidance. Having another dog in the home is a must for him; he draws comfort and confidence from following their lead, and feels safest in their company. Mojo Jojo mixes well with dogs of all sizes, but his experience with cats hasn't been tested yet. This is not the right fit for a bustling, noisy home or one with young children—he thrives on calm and needs a patient, experienced adopter. If you know how to go slow, offer gentle encouragement, and celebrate every brave step, you’ll see him open up bit by bit. Mojo Jojo is about 4 years old, weighs 15 pounds, and is fully vetted. He is likely a mix of Chihuahua, Jack Russell, and possibly Beagle, with all the intelligence and heart that comes with that blend. Once he trusts you, Mojo Jojo offers quiet, lasting affection and loyalty. His ideal adopter will offer a peaceful space, daily routines, and a resident dog to help him keep learning. With time and trust, he’ll show you just how deeply a shy dog can love. Your new best friend is just one click away.
