About Foxy
Foxy is a survivor with an incredible spirit. Weighing around 40 pounds, this compact, athletic boy has endured his share of hardship but now knows what it's like to feel safe and loved in a patient foster home. Foxy is sharp, house-trained, and crate-trained, showing impressive manners when he feels secure. He loves structure and routine, making him a reliable walking partner and a quick study when it comes to learning new skills. His past has left him somewhat anxious about meeting new dogs. At first, his reactions may look reactive, but patience reveals his desire to play and connect—especially once he feels comfortable. Foxy does best living with another stable, confident dog to help model good behavior, so a home with an experienced, dog-savvy adopter is a must. Children and hectic environments aren't for him; sudden movements and loud sounds can make him uneasy, so he'll thrive with adults who enjoy outdoor activities and positive-reinforcement training. Breed-wise, Foxy blends traits of Cattle Dog, Carolina Dog, Chihuahua, and Corgi, giving him a long, low build with a medium coat in a reddish chestnut. He forms deep bonds and wants more than anything to please those he trusts. In the right hands, Foxy will reward patience and consistency with absolute loyalty. He has already come so far and is ready for a home that can help him continue his journey. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.

Because Foxy has herding breeds in his background, he appreciates regular walks and a yard or outdoor space to explore. Daily activity helps keep him balanced and happy.
