About Bloomington
Bloomington, also known as Morrison, is a young, medium-sized mixed breed who has overcome a tough start. He arrived at the rescue with his six siblings, all understandably wary of people after suffering significant abuse early in life. Despite these challenges, he has blossomed into a submissive, playful dog who absolutely loves the company of other dogs. He gravitates toward dog friends and finds his confidence grows when he has a canine companion nearby. Men still make him anxious, though he'll tolerate respectful interactions; he’s not yet formed strong bonds with any men. Bloomington enjoys playtime, walks well on leash without reacting to passersby, and is content using a crate or dog door. He is housebroken and gets along with both cats and other dogs, making him a good candidate for a multi-pet household. Born under the sign of Virgo, Bloomington’s thoughtful and gentle side shows in his behavior. He’ll thrive in a calm environment with patient adopters willing to help him build confidence day by day.
