About Oso
Oso’s name means “bear” in Spanish, but he’s really just a big softie at heart. After being rescued just hours from euthanasia at the shelter, Oso is soaking up every moment of his second chance. He’s a senior with plenty of love left, totally smitten by the comfort of indoor living—central air, a doggy door, a cool spot in the shade. He lights up for people and carries his favorite stuffed toys everywhere, especially the little ones that fit perfectly in his mouth. Simple pleasures like a game of fetch or bath time delight him, and treats (especially chicken tacos) are the way to his heart. Oso wants to be your one-and-only dog, where he can bask in all your attention. He does well with children and greets new people with nonstop tail wags. You won’t hear a word out of him—he’s the quiet type, content just to hang out and fill your home with gentle companionship and kisses. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing friend who’s happiest being close, Oso might be the perfect fit. Oso is a courtesy post for Valley Dogs Rescue. Ready to fall in love?
