About Lizzie
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Lizzie Lou is a lovely, kiss-giving gal who adores showing affection and sharing her signature "hugs." She enjoys time off-leash at family camp, often seen running joyfully with other dogs. Her heart belongs to power chewer toys, and nothing makes her happier than turkey slices or string cheese. Lizzie is comfortable around water, often choosing to wade and lap up the coolness rather than swim. In her ideal home, Lizzie should be the only dog, as she thrives on individual attention. While she enjoys playtime, her enthusiasm can be a bit overwhelming for older dogs and young children, who might unintentionally be knocked over during her moments of love. Cats tend to spark her chasing instincts, so a cat-free home—or a home with easygoing cats—would be best. Recently spayed and current on her vaccinations, Lizzie enjoys daily walks to channel her playful energy. When she gets a toy to chew, she’s truly content, though she sometimes becomes possessive over her favorite toys or food. With treat-based redirection, she’s learning how to share her prized possessions. Lizzie is destined to blossom in a home that can provide her the gentle guidance and environment she needs to shine. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
