About Bruno

Meet Bruno! He's a big, joyful lap dog trapped in a large body—at 65lbs, he wants nothing more than to be close to his humans and share his happy, affectionate energy. Bruno greets everyone like an old friend, always sporting that signature smile and wagging tail, and he never seems to run out of sweetness. He prefers to be the only dog at home, though with patient introductions, he can get along with the right canine companion. Cats are not his cup of tea, but kids aged 10 and up will love his playful, loving ways—just keep in mind he's a hefty guy and might bowl over little ones by accident. His house manners are solid: he's fully house-trained and crate-trained, and knows how to behave when left alone. Bruno adores treats, chew toys, and cool snacks, and will do just about anything for extra pets or a spot on the couch. Leash walks are part of life, but don't expect perfect manners yet; he’s made good progress but will need some continued guidance. With his one perky ear, the other flopping down, and that big blocky smile, Bruno charms everyone in his path. His adoption fee includes a generous $300 sponsorship, so bringing him home is easier than ever. Bruno is currently thriveing in foster care in South Carolina and can be transported anywhere along the East Coast, all the way to Maine. Bruno's ready to fill a home with love, laughter, and kisses.
