About Bucky

Your new best friend is just one click away. Bucky is a lovable 4-year-old black Labrador Retriever mix who is known for being a stage 5 clinger—cuddling and staying close are his favorite things! With his soft fur and sweet nature, Bucky hopes to find a family that will shower him with plenty of pets and affection. He is house trained, bursting with energy, and would thrive best in a home that has a fenced-in yard for him to play in. Bucky is a smart pup who already knows commands like sit, down, place, and even 'put ‘r there' for a friendly shake. Having previously lived with children under 8, Bucky has done well, but because he can get a bit anxious around new people, he is likely to do best in a family with older children or in an adult-only home. Bucky enjoys the company of other playful, similarly aged dogs, but he'd also be perfectly content as the only pet, soaking up all the attention for himself! He is used to having his humans work from home, so a home where he isn't left alone too often would be ideal. Bucky is currently part of the Keep Them Home program and is ready for his forever family. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
