Welcome to the world of Zeenie. I recently came into rescue and as with most new dogs to rescue I shut down. I didn't eat, I just laid in my bed. But I am young and adjusted quickly. In a couple of days I started playing with my foster mom's husky, a couple more days I finally decided I would eat my food, not just take a couple bites. Now that I am comfortable I play with her dogs and we run and run in our yard. My original owner let me sleep in her bed so that is where I am comfortable. My foster mom is trying to get me to sleep in a dog bed at night but I am not doing it. When she is gone I do go in a kennel and don't mind it. Oh and I learned how to use the doggy door pretty quickly. Now I run in and out like it is a revolving door! There is so much to see outside but yet I want to be in the house near my humans. I know some commands like sit and off. We are working on others. Well for only a week in rescue I feel I am doing pretty good. I sure hope to find myself my own family real soon.
