About Frankie
Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Meet frankie, a lively 1-year-old Boxer/Lab mix who's eager to find a loving home! This sweet boy is up to date on his vaccines, deworming, and prevention, and is microchipped. He will be neutered soon and is available for pre-adoption in the meantime. Frankie found his way to the rescue after playfully knocking over the smaller children in his previous home—he's not aggressive, just youthful and exuberant, and doesn’t yet know his own strength. Frankie thrives with older children (6+), gets along well with people, other dogs, and even cats (though his playful nature may lead him to chase them). He loves outdoor adventures, exploring small spaces, and cuddling up when he feels secure. In the shelter, he’s been a bit nervous and vocal, barking when he’s unsure, but underneath that is a truly affectionate and goofy companion who just needs a little reassurance. Frankie is very loving once he knows you, but he will need continued support with potty training and leash skills. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
