About Cutie
Cutie fits her name in every way. This medium-sized black Labrador Retriever mix is around two and a half years old and weighs about 42 lbs. Her foster calls her Cutie Patootie, and she's earned it with her playful energy and deep love of snuggling. She thrives in an active home, preferably with older kids, because her zoomies and love of outdoor play mean she needs room to run. If you toss a frisbee or a ball, sheāll chase it every timeāthough sheās still working on letting go at the end of the game. Tug of war is a favorite, after all. Cutie is at her best with families who want a companion for walks or play in the yard, but sheās also a champion cuddler who melts into a lap once sheās had her fun. She knows āsitā and āgo to your roomā (her kennel), sleeps quietly through the night, and stays there if left alone during work hours. She chews on toys but isnāt destructiveāshoes are safe, but donāt be surprised if a sock or stray hair tie vanishes now and then. Cutie loves her furry foster brother and gets along well, though introductions to new dogs may need some care. She loves sunbathing and sometimes lingers outside, soaking up the warmth, but comes running if she thinks she might miss out on being with her people. If youāre serious about adopting her, her foster wants to make sure itās truly forever. Ready to make room for a snuggly, playful, and very loyal friend? Start your journey together! Apply now.
