Sasha is a 7-year-old dilute calico who started out in a cat colony and came indoors pregnant. She was timid at first but always accepted a careful head scratch, growing friendlier with time. As a mom, Sasha raised five kittens of her own and took in two extras without hesitation. Once the kittens were adopted, she slowly emerged from her shell, especially whenever food was around. Sasha began playing with toys, carrying them around and meowing—her new personal routine. She now enjoys being petted more fully and relishes chin scratches. Sasha still needs patience and a quiet approach, but she's shown every sign that she'll make an affectionate and playful companion for a home ready to give her space and time.
