Rubble has spent his entire life with one family, his days filled with routine and the steady comfort of a familiar yard. When he lost sight in one eye at two years old and then became completely blind last year, everything changed. After he lost both his sight and his home, Rubble found himself in a shelter, confused and grieving—his trust in the world shaken and his future uncertain. A foster stepped up and gave Rubble a second chance. Still, he’s struggling. The sudden loss of his world and familiar people weighs on him, and his blindness makes each day a challenge. He’s searching for someone gentle and patient, a new person who is home most of the day, so he isn’t left anxious or alone. He needs to be the only animal in the home; other pets add too much stress to an already hard life. Rubble does get along with children, but his adopter must be able to offer him near-constant company, assurance, and a quiet place where he can feel safe again.
