About Maggie
Make their next chapter their best one yet. Meet Maggie, a charming 1-year-old pittie mix with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. Though Maggie may seem a bit shy at first, once she settles in and feels secure, her loving personality shines through. She becomes incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal, always ready to fill your days with joy and companionship. Maggie forms bonds quickly with women and would do best in a calm, understanding home that can provide her with patience and gentle support as she builds her confidence. Once she trusts you, she's all about tail wags, cozy snuggles, and playful bursts of energy! While Maggie has not shown aggression towards children, her comfort level around small kids is unknown. She loves the company of other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine pal to share games and naps with. Maggie is spayed, current on all vaccinations, and eager to find her forever family—a place where she can feel safe, cherished, and truly at home. Please note: All adopters must live within a 50-mile radius due to the home visit requirement as part of the adoption process. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Questions about Maggie
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Pit Bull Terrier mixes are adaptable and can thrive in a variety of environments, but they benefit from homes that provide consistent companionship, structure, and regular exercise. They do well in both houses and apartments, provided their exercise needs are met.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
While a fenced yard is ideal, Pit Bull Terriers can do well without one as long as they get daily walks and playtime. They enjoy time outdoors but are happy when they're with their people.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
When properly socialized, Pit Bull Terriers can be gentle and affectionate with children. Supervision and thoughtful introductions to young kids are always recommended, as with any breed.
