Koda
AvailableKoda is a tricolor (brown, black, and white) Australian Shepherd with a medium coat, located in Seneca, PA. He is an adult, large male dog who is not house trained and is neutered. His vaccinations are current.
About Koda
Koda has come a long way since arriving at the rescue. When he first showed up, he had an old fracture in his front right paw, which we treated immediately. After starting pain meds and receiving care, Koda's attitude shifted—he went from defensive to friendly, showing a playful and affectionate side. Following neuter surgery, he had his front right leg amputated to keep him comfortable long-term. He bounced back fast, acting like he hardly notices anything's missing. Koda sometimes gets worked up when he sees other dogs near his kennel, but in a larger fenced area, he's relaxed around them. If you're thinking about bringing him into a multi-dog home, a meet and greet is a must. At about two years old, he's eager to find a family that can give him the love he deserves.
