About Niles

Niles is a true cuddle bug with a soft spot for everyone he meets. Though he’s only got three legs, he gets around well—just needs a hand with car rides or stairs, and he does best in a home with carpet and not too many steps. Niles is fantastic with people of all ages, from kids to seniors, and he’ll happily curl up on a child’s bed or try to climb into any available lap. Just be mindful with really tiny children since he sometimes forgets his size. Niles is not a fit for homes with other dogs or cats as he can show unprovoked dog aggression and isn’t good with cats. He thrives as a single pet and will be happiest with frequent company since he struggles with separation anxiety, sometimes having accidents if left crated for more than a few hours. A household where someone’s home much of the day would be ideal. He’s house trained, loves belly rubs, peanut butter, car rides, and short daily walks—about a mile is his limit. Despite his challenges, Niles’s goofy, loving personality makes him impossible not to love. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
