About Zoey
Zoey is a delightful, spayed female Pit Bull who has a lot of love to share. At six years old and weighing 60 lbs, she brings a blend of playfulness and affection to her foster home in Eugene, OR. Known for her goofy antics, she often makes her foster laugh with her playful personality. Fully house-trained, Zoey enjoys the freedom of a doggie door and prefers to chill at home while waiting for her people to return. While she can be coaxed into her crate if needed, she loves to lounge around the house and take cozy naps. Zoey’s biggest joys come from food and treats, and she tackles her meals with a slow feeder bowl to avoid gulping them down too quickly. Leisurely walks are her favorite, and while she’s strong on a lead, Zoey is also an excellent car rider who loves to enjoy the breeze with her nose out the window. This affectionate girl is not shy about showing her love, following you around the house and snuggling up next to you. When it’s nap time, she finds a soft spot, often creating a fluffy nest with pillows. Zoey gets along well with other dogs after proper introductions, though past experiences have made her a bit defensive around overly assertive ones. She expresses herself with playful vocalizations and snores loudly when asleep. Just a heads-up, she has sensitive skin and does best on a diet free of chicken.
