About Russell
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Russell is an incredibly sweet, snuggly, and spunky little guy—truly a wonderful Terrier. He has shown a gentle and playful nature with young children (ages 3–6), has gotten along well with other dogs, and delights in talking to and playfully engaging with the outdoor rescue cats he's met through a fence, so he is likely to do great with a resident cat. Found along with his brothers after being abandoned by a backyard breeder, Russell has proven to be resilient and loving. Though he can climb chain link and welded wire, he would thrive in a home with wood or vinyl fencing, or somewhere—like an apartment—where his outdoor time can be properly supervised or on leash. Russell is crate trained, hasn't had crate accidents, and tells his caretakers when he needs to go outside. He jumps with joy when you approach and has a perfect balance of affection and playfulness. Russell would fit in with a variety of home settings, especially where he'll have loving supervision. He's ready to travel to California around mid-October if that's where his forever home awaits.
