Meet Patches! She was left behind in a dog crate at a local park alongside her sibling and her sibling’s three half-grown kittens. Patches is thought to be around 2 to 3 years old. She’s a striking white and gray tabby, and if you look closely, you’ll see tufts of fur jutting out from the tops of her ears. Patches has a calm and gentle nature, but she’s shy and appreciates a slow approach. Her meow is soft and bird-like, and she’s not shy about letting you know when she wants dinner. Patience will be important with her; Patches needs a home where she can decompress and start feeling safe at her own pace. She has lived peacefully in a foster home with dogs, and she doesn’t seem to mind a calm, cat-friendly dog roommate. Because the other kittens she was found with carry a viral condition that flares up under stress, Patches should be adopted as an only cat. This is for her ongoing wellbeing. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has tested negative for the common FIV/FeLV combo test. Patches is ready to settle in somewhere quiet and loving.
