About Maggie
Maggie has been through quite a bit for such a young dog. After surviving difficult circumstances living in a van on Skid Row, she’s still managed to keep a gentle, soulful energy that endears her to everyone who meets her. She’s deeply affectionate and happiest when she’s next to her people, making every interaction count. Maggie loves attention and thrives on petting, never shying away from a moment of closeness. Playful, Maggie enjoys running, chasing balls, and roughhousing with her foster friends Lainey and Chester. She tires out in spurts and is content just chilling by your side. She’s smart, food motivated, and takes treats gently. She already knows ‘sit’ and ‘down’ and is eager to learn more for someone who’ll invest in her. Leash walking is a work in progress—she’s curious, sometimes pulls, and will need a handler who can help her with focus, ideally using a harness. Maggie is a Doberman Pinscher/Rottweiler mix around 1-2 years old, and she weighs about 75 pounds. She’s house trained, up to date on vaccines, and spayed. Maggie gets along with her foster buddies and most large dogs after proper introductions. She’s a devoted, loving companion looking for her new life and forever home. Ready to fall in love?
