About Kirby
Kirby is a medium-sized, adult male dog with soulful eyes and a lot of heart. He carries himself with a bit of swagger and tends to brighten whatever room he walks into. Playful and clever, Kirby likes to learn new tricks and seems happiest when there's a mix of adventure and downtime—he’ll chase a ball in the yard and then flop down next to you for a long cuddle. He’s described as loyal, affectionate, and always up for a movie night or a walk. Kirby is new to rescue, so there are still discoveries to make about his personality and quirks, but he’s clearly ready for someone to give him a real home. He hasn’t been house trained yet, so an adopter should be prepared to work through that training. Kirby also needs to be adopted in person and brought home by his new family. He was born on February 18, 2022, which makes him a thoughtful Aquarius—a sign said to love adventure and companionship. Every animal needs a journey, and Kirby’s is just getting started.
