Finch Shy is a spayed female, small mixed-breed cat with domestic short hair and Russian Blue heritage. She is about 4 years and 3 months old and sports a soft gray-blue-silver coat. Finch is up to date on her vaccinations and currently resides in ATOKA, TN. Despite her shy nature, she's making great progress with socialization.

About Finch Shy

Finch Shy arrived in dire straits, battling a severe upper respiratory infection and an ulcerated, infected eye—she nearly lost the eye, but thanks to quick vet care, it was saved. There's a permanent scar, and she likely has some vision loss on that side. Finch is slow to trust, especially after months of medication and hands-on treatment, so she needs a calm, patient environment. She’s come a long way with socialization in foster care and would thrive in a home with another gentle cat to help her come out of her shell. Window perches are her happy place, and there she’ll relax while her foster mom gives her soft kisses and chin rubs. Finch doesn’t want to be picked up but will occasionally join you for a quiet moment and a gentle scratch. A steady, mellow household will let her confidence continue to grow. Finch is currently in ATOKA, TN. Start your journey together! Apply now.
