Meet Genesee! About a year or so old, Genesee was brought into our rescue as a shy kitten. She’s still a small thing, and still working on her shyness with our volunteers. Genesee LOVES wet food though, she’ll come out of her shell for just about any wet food we’ve opened. Another key to her heart is freeze dried chicken, which is how we got most of these pictures of her! Genesee will have a long journey to opening up her softer side to humans, and from experience we know how rewarding that can be. We know she has an affectionate heart, she just needs some (food-based) encouragement to help her open it up. What a lovely companion she will make, and what a rewarding experience to have together we think. Genesee is very friendly to other cats, and is currently living at our condo on Five Points. 520 W Utica St in Buffalo.
