About Rusty
Rusty is a one-year-old sweetheart who’s dealt with a tough past but hasn’t lost his gentle spirit. After fending for himself on the streets, he’s still a bit timid, but patience brings out his loving side. Rusty finds comfort in curling up inside his favorite cat cave, and he shows his gratitude with shy, thankful eye kisses when you feed him. Rusty is FIV+ (feline immunodeficiency virus positive), but with regular care and a safe indoor life, he can thrive for many years. What matters most to Rusty is having a calm, reassuring home with someone patient who’ll offer him the stability and affection he’s missed out on. He opens up with time, and when he does, you’ll be rewarded with quiet companionship and daily reminders of trust. Rusty also gets along well with other cats and would be especially happy adopted with his pal Carlton. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Rusty doesn’t require outdoor space, especially since he’s FIV+. He’s best kept indoors where he’ll be safe and healthy.
