Meet Corey, a cat who has come a long way since leaving the streets. After about a year in rescue, Corey has started to discover that people arenāt as frightening as he once thought. He didnāt get the early socialization that makes some cats instantly affectionate, so heās learningāstep by stepāwhat it means to be a companion. Volunteers have seen real progress as Corey grows more comfortable with gentle petting and interaction. This is the kind of cat who will reward consistent patience with slow-building trust. Corey is good with other cats and moves around confidently when people arenāt crowded around. Heāll do best in a calm, understanding home, with space and cozy places for retreat.
