About Luna
Luna is a 10-month-old female Shepherd/Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix living in Onley, VA. She was first adopted at an event in Washington, DC, but her previous home wasn't the right fit—she didn't get along with the resident dog, despite initially doing well at a meet and greet. Luna is spayed and current on all vaccines. At her latest weigh-in she was 38 pounds, and she’ll likely top out under 45 pounds when full grown. Her short brown coat is easy to care for. Luna has shown a gentle and loving temperament with people and does well around children. She’s also proven to be calm and respectful around chickens. Based on her experiences, Luna will do best as the only dog in a household, though she craves affection and company from her humans. If you’re looking for a laid-back, affectionate young dog who's happiest as your one and only, Luna may be a great match. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
