About Penny
Penny thrives on human affection and is always up for learning new tricks, especially when snacks are involved. She’s both crate and potty trained, and her favorite pastime is a good, fast-paced game of fetch with any kind of ball. Penny loves hiking, getting outside, and meeting new people. Even though she’s deaf, Penny knows several hand signals and reads people well—she’s sharp, funny, and lives for snuggles and belly rubs. Penny really just wants all the attention. She would be happiest as the only dog in her home, where she can soak up all the love. Her foster describes her as silly and deeply loving; she’ll roll onto your lap for baby-style cuddles and works hard on those puppy-dog eyes to win your heart (and maybe a carrot or two). She has moments of curiosity with other dogs behind gates but is easily startled if woken up abruptly, so a gentle touch goes a long way. Penny does not get along with cats or other dogs, so she must be the only animal in your home. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
