Linus is a big, mellow presence with the plush coat you would expect from a Great Pyrenees and German Shepherd mix. At around 3-4 years old and fully neutered, he’s up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for heartworm. Linus knows his way around a crate and actually prefers spending downtime there, especially when he’s busy hiding or playing with his toys. He does well with other dogs but likes to assert himself, so he’ll need a home where his social cues are understood. Families with kids younger than 10 are not a fit—not because he’s ever mean or aggressive, but because his size and strength could easily bowl over little ones.
