AvailableBonita is a small adult female Domestic Short Hair cat currently living in Saint Peters, MO. She has been spayed and would do best with someone patient and familiar with cat behavior.
About Bonita
Bonita is a 6-year-old calico who arrived after her owner moved, with a reputation for being feral. The truth revealed itself quickly—Bonita wasn't wild, just overwhelmed. She acted defensive at first, but she never tried to lash out and allowed gentle petting from the start. Now safe, she's showing her sweet personality in small bursts. Bonita is FIV positive, but stays healthy indoors and is loving her role as an "indoor diva." In her foster home, she's cautious—sudden noises send her back to her comfort spot, which earned her the nickname "the closet gremlin." Bonita needs a peaceful, predictable home with patient, cat-savvy people willing to let her decide the speed of introductions. She may spend much of her early days hiding, and she voices discomfort with a hiss rather than aggression. Her trust, once given, grows with calm consistency. Ready to fall in love?
