About Betty Boop
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Betty Boop was rescued from the Nacogdoches shelter when renovations began, having spent four months patiently waiting for someone to notice her. She was a shy little brown dog with a sad expression, often overlooked by visitors. When placed into foster care, Betty truly blossomed—her coat became shinier and her eyes brighter, reflecting her newfound hope. Betty loves to run and play ball, showing off her athletic side, but also treasures quiet snuggle time. While she can still be shy at first, she quickly warms up and reveals her affectionate personality. She benefits from slow introductions with new dog friends and, once comfortable, enjoys playful interactions. Betty is crate trained and thrives within the nurturing environment of a real home. With more love and patience, she will continue to flourish into the wonderful companion she is meant to be. Fun fact: Betty Boop’s birthday is March 16, making her a compassionate and intuitive Pisces—perfect for anyone looking for a gentle, loyal friend. This could be the start of something paw-some.
